Born in Tehran in 1965, Nadiya Esen graduated from Tehran German High School in 1983.
She graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Health Institutions Management in 1984, received a Master's degree at the same university in 1993, then continued her doctorate program and started to work as Assistant Hospital Manager at Başkent University. In 1994, she worked as Assistant Administrative Director and Planning Specialist at Ankara Bayındır Medical Center. Due to his husband Prof. Dr. Emin Esen's duty, she came to Adana in 1996 and continued her duty as the Administrative Director at Universal Hospital, where she was present also in the establishment phase, until 2000. Between 2000-2003, she was the Director of Outpatient Services at the American Hospital in Istanbul. She has been working as the Administrative Director at Galleria ENT Center since 2007.
She participated in many symposiums, seminars and meetings during her working life.
She has publications such as “Modern Hospital Management” in Life Magazine (1993), “Total Quality Management in Hospital Management” in Productivity Magazine, “Quality Activities in Health Services” in Health Appointment Bulletin, “World Class Health Services” in Milliyet Newspaper, “Capturing the Age in Health” in Sabah Newspaper, "Contemporary Hospital Management" in Bölge Newspaper, "Health Services at High Standards" in Sabah Newspaper.
Nadiya Esen, who is also involved in social responsibility projects, is the founder of Noyan Esen School Libraries opened in Adana Akkuyu Primary School, TOKİ Primary School and Mevlâna Secondary Schools.
